El Batán - Chinamada (Hiking)
It’s a challenging and spectacular hike that will take you through some of the most stunning and varied landscapes in Anaga Rural Park.
Starting at La Punta del Hidalgo, this circular trail takes you from the coast to the depths of the green valleys of Anaga, climbing along ancient cobblestone paths to reach El Batán, a small, picturesque hamlet known for its traditional architecture and agricultural terraces.
From there, the trail continues to Chinamada, where you can admire the traditional cave houses still used as homes. Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, cliffs, and lush ravines make this route a unique and memorable experience.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your excursion, the conditions are as follows:
- With more than 48 hours notice, you will receive a full 100% refund.
- Between 48-24 hours in advance, a 50% refund will be made.
- With less than 24 hours notice, no refund will be made
In the event that the weather conditions were not ideal for carrying out the activity, there would be the possibility of:
- Change the date.
- Make a 100% refund.
- Change the route to another.
What do you need to bring?
- Sunscreen, sports clothing and shoes in good condition, and a layer of warm clothing. Especially on this route, don't forget your raincoat.
- At Tenique Outdoor we advocate Ecotourism, therefore, we recommend the use of canteens (1.5L per person) rather than plastic water bottles.
- Snacks and personal items in a backpack.
