Buenavista - Teno Alto - Punta Teno (Hicking)
This is a challenging hike that offers a complete experience, combining the majesty of the mountainous landscapes with the serenity of the coastline in the northwest corner of Tenerife. It begins in the municipality of Buenavista and climbs to Teno Alto, famous for its rural authenticity and breathtaking views. The route continues descending toward the coast, culminating at the spectacular Punta de Teno, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing snorkeling session in its crystal-clear waters.
We also have the option of visiting a local goat farm, where you can taste artisanal cheeses and witness a shepherd’s jump demonstration, a traditional technique used by Canarian shepherds to navigate rough terrain.
If you want to add an extra experience to this route, as a complementary activity, we offer a 2-hour boat ride along the cliffs of Los Gigantes starting from Punta de Teno to Playa de Masca.

- €80 per person, minimum 2 people.
- €30 extra per person for groups of 3 or more.
- For children up to 12 years old, the price will be €15 extra.
- For groups of 8 or more, please inquire about pricing.
*If you'd like to add the option of a farm visit with artisanal cheese tasting and a shepherd's jump exhibition, it's an extra €15 per person.
*If you'd like to include the boat ride, there's an extra €30 per person. Children under 12 pay €20.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your excursion, the conditions are as follows:
- With more than 48 hours notice, you will receive a full 100% refund.
- Between 48-24 hours in advance, a 50% refund will be made.
- With less than 24 hours notice, no refund will be made
In the event that the weather conditions were not ideal for carrying out the activity, there would be the possibility of:
- Change the date.
- Make a 100% refund.
- Change the route to another.
What do you need to bring?
- Sunscreen, sports clothing and shoes in good condition, and a layer of warm clothing.
- At Tenique Outdoor we advocate Ecotourism, therefore, we recommend the use of canteens (1.5L per person) rather than plastic water bottles.
- Snacks and personal items in a backpack.
- To immortalize the unique moments and landscapes that we will experience on the route, don't forget to bring your camera.
- Don't forget your swimsuit and towel to take a well-deserved dip.
